Build a Culture of Care to Recruit, Engage, and Retain Staff
Presented by: Healthleaders
10:00 AM - 11:05 AM EDT
Session Overview:
Private duty is not an easy job, with low compensation and stressful situation, so it’s not surprising that retaining good workers can be one of the most challenging parts of running a private-duty business. Building a solid culture of care in your agency by providing fair compensation, broadening career paths, and providing training over and above minimum standards can attract, engage, strengthen, and keep new talent. This roundtable will look at ways that private duty agencies can create a culture where healthcare workers feel respected, important, and greatly needed.

Begin Strong, Long-lasting Client Relationships with Solid Client Onboarding
Presented by: Healthleaders
12:15 PM - 1:15 PM EDT
Session Overview:
Private duty marketing must recognize that it has two extremely different targets: referral resources, which send business to private duty agencies, and prospective clients and their families. Identifying and then building relationships with professional referral sources takes time and consistency, but the payoff can be financially rewarding. Marketing to potential clients and their families is quite different and a bit more challenging; after all, you’re selling intimately personal services to vulnerable populations. Plus, the service is typically private pay, so prospective clients are particularly conscious of price. This roundtable will look at ways that private duty agencies can effectively market to each of their targets.
