Healthcare disrupters and disrupter-aligned providers such as payer, retail, tech, digital, venture capital, and private equity (VC/PE) organizations continue to shape the health are landscape, offering consumers alternatives to traditional care and offering clinicians new options for employment.
Assessing disrupters’ activities at the local level is a non-negotiable part of an enterprise’s strategic and growth planning process. Developing strategic partnerships with disrupters to offer competitive care models and enhance payer mix in the short term, while remaining differentiated in the long term, may be necessary for future sustainability.
